Upcoming Events at Juneau Makerspace

We’ve got a lot of great events scheduled for the coming month. Here’s a rundown of what’s  coming up at our Monday Open Night Studios.
December 19th: Intro to Sewing Class. Sewing is always a good skill to have and here’s your chance to learn the basics.
January 2nd: Make(r) Friends Night. Learn to make a friendship bracelet. Bring a friend. Make new ones.
January 9th: Maker Show and Tell. This is always a very popular event. Bring a project you’re working on or done recently and see what others are working on.
January 16th: 3D Printing Workshop. Learn how to use our 3D printer. Also a very popular event.
The doors are open from 6 to 8 pm Monday nights with scheduled events starting at 6:30 for anyone who wants to participate. We will not be having an Open Studio Night on December 26th.
We are also adding a few weekend events in January. On Saturday January 7th we will have an Intro to Ceramics class from 2 to 4 pm. On Saturday, January 14th we will have a glazing event for ceramic pieces, 2 to 4 pm. We will have a bisque firing of the kiln on January 10th and a glaze firing on January 15th. If you have a piece you would like to have fired, let us know. Also on the schedule is Friday Night HAM radio building at 7 pm weekly through mid January.
