We have a lot of great events coming up at our weekly Monday Open Studio Nights. The Makerspace is free and open to the public every Monday night from 6 to 8 pm for anyone to come check out the space. Here’s the schedule of upcoming spring events:
3/27/17 – Intro to EL Wire. Learn about electroluminescent wire and how it can be used for a variety of awesome projects. It’s flexible and glows, how much more do you need?
4/3/17 – Art Project Hosted by Meta Mesdag. Learn to make Scandinavian Star Decorations from twigs.
4/10/17 – Intro to Laser Cutting. Learn to cut and engrave things and shoot lasers. Learning to use the Force will be another week.
4/17/17 – Artist Trading Cards. Learn a variety of art techniques on a small scale, and swap them with other artists.
4/24/17 – Maker Show and Tell. We want to see what you’ve been working on, and come see what other makers have been up to.
5/1/17 – Guest Led Art Project
5/8/17 – Mother’s Day Kids Cards. Make some heartfelt Mother’s Day cards. A hand made card will make the day a lot more special than a store bought one.
We will also be having an Easter crafts event on Saturday, April 8th from 1 to 3 pm.
